Teledyne DALSA to Present Complete Portfolio of Low Dose CMOS X-Ray Detectors at International Dental Show 2015

Teledyne DALSA will showcase its low dose, CMOS digital X-Ray detectors at the upcoming thirty-sixth International Dental Show (IDS). The fair will be held March 10-14 at the Kolnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Teledyne DALSA will be located in Hall 2.2 Stand B59. New Xineos models, including the 1511, 1501 and 2301 utilize Teledyne DALSA's sixth generation radiation-hard CMOS active pixel design with active areas of 15x11cm, 152x7mm, and 228x7mm respectively. Offering switchable saturation dose, low dissipation power and built-in gain, offset and defect correction, Xineos detectors are versatile, reliable and easy to integrate. The Xineos-1511 offers switchable saturation dose for increased sensitivity on demand. The 1511's large active area enables imaging from the top of the Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) to the bottom of the adult mandible with a flexible and programmable region of interest (e.g. 15x1cm @ 300fps). Low-dose image quality and high resolution make Xineos-1511 ideal for 3D dental diagnosis and implant planning. The Xineos-1501 and -2301 support fast frame-based scans for optimization of the dental arch focal plane during image reconstruction and provide amazing low-dose sensitivity and image quality. The 6mm edge distance at the atient shoulder side enables improved patient access and compact enclosure designs. Both are ideal for Panoramic and Cephalometric imaging. Additionally, Teledyne DALSA will feature the following CMOS and CCD X-Ray detectors on the booth: Size 1 and Size 2 Vera Intra-oral Sensors - Highly Integrated, Premium and Value Models: Vera intra-oral dental sensors offer image quality, fast readout and reliable X-ray detection. Vera is available exclusively to dental equipment OEM with both Cesium Iodide (CsI) and Gadolinium Oxysulfide (GdOS) scintillators. Xineos-1515, -2022HR and -3030HR large format CMOS Dynamic Flat X-ray Detectors offer 99um pixel resolution and high frame rates for advanced Dental 3D, Skull and ENT imaging applications. With a choice of CameraLink or Gigabit Ethernet interface, these detectors support up to 30fps frame rate at full resolution. Argus-PAN and -CEPH are cost-effective CCD-TDI X-Ray detectors and provide high resolution with easy Ethernet connectivity. The 15 cm Argus-PAN is designed for extra-oral Panoramic applications, and the Argus-CEPH provides 22cm scan height optimized for Cephalometric imaging.

Teledyne DALSA announced its Rad-icon 3030 CMOS X-Ray detector. The Rad-icon 3030 detector features 3096 x 3100 pixel resolution, an active area of 30.6 x 30.7 cm, and 99 micron pixel size. Rad-icon detectors deliver real-time frame rates of up to 30 fps, high sensitivity, and superb resolution in a large area device that is fully integrated and available with a fast, reliable Gigabit Ethernet or Camera Link interface. The detectors offer a unique combination of higher resolution and fast imaging suitable for industrial x-ray inspection, scientific imaging, and non-destructive testing, including weld inspection, wire bond and printed circuit board (PCB) inspection, microfocus, computed tomography (CT) and other demanding industrial imaging applications.
Teledyne DALSA to Showcase Latest Advances in High Speed Cameras and Frame Grabbers at Vision 2014

Teledyne DALSA announced an extensive lineup of imaging products to be featured at the VISION show, November 4-6 in Hall 1, Booth D 54, Messe Stuttgart, Germany. These include the Piranha4(TM) multispectral quadlinear camera, the Linea(TM) series of single line Camera Link and soon to be released GigE Vision models, the Genie(TM) TS 5 M camera, as well as a preview of the new Piranha(TM) XL multi-line CMOS TDI camera and the Xtium(TM) CLHS frame grabber. The Piranha4 Monochrome and the Genie TS cameras offer High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging which outputs an image with a shorter exposure time and a second image with longer exposure to capture even greater detail. This functionality will be demonstrated for the first time at the VISION show. Teledyne DALSA's Piranha4(TM) Multispectral is a quadlinear camera with RGB, plus Near Infrared (NIR) output. This latest Piranha4 extends imaging capability for many applications including 100% print inspection, banknote inspection, package and label inspection, and food inspection. The Linea(TM) series is comprised of feature rich, high value CMOS line scan cameras and is available with a Camera Link interface, and soon with GigE. With 2, 4 and 8k resolutions and 80 kHz line rate, these single line cameras are ideal for machine vision applications including food, electronics, material sorting, rail and web inspection, and where low cost deployment is essential. The Piranha XL multi-line CMOS camera and the Xtium CLHS frame grabber offer a complete solution for next generation high speed inspections in light starved conditions such as flat panel display and printed circuit board inspection. The Piranha XL and Xtium PX4 are among a growing number of new cameras and frame grabbers engineered to take advantage of the AIA's Camera Link HS interface standard. The Genie(TM) TS series now includes a 5M model that can reach speeds of up to 51 frames per second in fast mode. Unique features like multiple Regions of Interest (ROI) significantly reduce the amount of data transferred while allowing systems to focus on critical processing events. The Genie TS is suitable for a wide range of applications including intelligent transport systems (ITS), entertainment, medical, food and beverage, electronics and printed circuit board (PCB) inspection.
