Brown Shipley head of private banking head of Hugh Titcomb is to leave the firm at the end of September 2015. Titcomb, a former Wealth Manager coverstar (pictured), joined the firm January 2014 as part of wider boardroom shake up that saw Robert Smoker and chief operating officer Robert Kitchen step down from the board. Brown Shipley's former head of private banking Julian Hardiman had stepped down the prior November. Titcomb said he intends to focus on his role as non-executive chairman of Harpenden Building Society, along with a number of other business and personal interests once he leaves. He was formerly group chief executive of Sanlam Private Investments for three years and prior to that was chief executive of Ansbacher Banking Group.
Brown Shipley Announces Management Changes

Brown Shipley has appointed Jim Willens as chairman with immediate effect, replacing current chairman Alan Dickinson who is stepping down after three years. Willens has been a non-executive director at Brown Shipley since 1 January 2014 and is also chief executive of Newcastle Building Society. Also a council member of the Building Societies Association, Willens' experience has included time as director of wealth management at Pagan Osborne and 24 years at Nationwide where he held a number of roles including group services director. Dickinson is stepping down following his appointment as a director of Lloyds Banking Group.
