PubliGroupe AG announced earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2014. For the six months, the company reported operating result of CHF 1.6 million compared to operating loss of CHF 9.9 million during the same period last year. Net loss attributable to the shareholders of the company was CHF 46.4 million compared to the loss of CHF 9.5 million in 2013. The high loss occurred due to one-off effects linked to the sale of Publicitas (CHF 39.5 million) in the range as communicated with the sale. Net revenue reached CHF 121.5 million compared to CHF 122.5 million for the same period a year ago. On pro-forma basis, the company reported net revenue was CHF 61.4 million compared to CHF 55.4 million for the same period a year ago and operating profit was CHF 4.4 million compared to operating loss of CHF 1.3 million for the same period a year ago. Loss attributable to the shareholders of the company was CHF 0.4 million compared to CHF 0.5 million for the same period a year ago.
Excluding Media Sales, for 2014 the company anticipates consolidated net revenue of around CHF 150 million with an operating result in the range of CHF 15 million to CHF 20 million.
