Trelleborg AB (OM:TREL B) and Freudenberg & Co. KG are moving forward with preparations for a stock market listing of TrelleborgVibracoustic GmbH, two people familiar with the matter said. Citi and Deutsche Bank have been retained to organize a second-quarter Initial Public Offering of TrelleborgVibracoustic, which could be valued at €2 billion - €2.5 billion, they added.

Freudenberg inaugurated a pilot line at its Kaiserslautern plant (Germany) with an investment of EUR 3 million (USD 3.3 million). The pilot lines at the plant focus on developing and testing new spun-laid manufacturing process before they are transferred to production plants. The new pilot line has taken over one of Freudenberg's current projects to its next stage of development. The company's spun-laid non-wovens are used in a variety of applications, including automotive. In automotive, spun-laid non-woven is used in carpets for car interiors and cabin air filters for vehicles.
Freudenberg Invests USD 40.7 Million in Office Building in Germany

The Freudenberg Group has announced plans to invest EUR 36 million (USD 40.7 million) in a modern office and administration building at the company's Weinheim site in Germany. The facility, to be spread over around 14,000 square metres, will include a total of 800 ultra-modern workplaces for employees, a conference centre with the latest media technology and an auditorium for 400 people. The new building will provide workplaces for office employees already working at the site. Tenants at the new building will include Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, Freudenberg Information Technologies and Trelleborg Vibracoustic. Further discussions are currently under way, and construction is expected to be completed towards the end of 2016.
