ZF Friedrichshafen AG appointed Franz Kleiner as head of the ZF Active and Passive Safety Technology division. Franz Kleiner was appointed member of the ZF Board of Management for the Region of North America at the beginning of 2015. John C. Plant, long-standing CEO of TRW, will hand over the management of the company to Dr. Kleiner, but will remain with ZF as an advisor until the end of 2015.

For the six months, the company reported that net profit attributable to shareholders of the company was EUR 691 million, compared to EUR 299 million for the same period ended June 30, 2014.
