ZF Friedrichshafen extended its research and development (R&D) centre in Plze, Czech Republic. ZF has invested EUR 4 million in the expansion of the R&D centre. ZF has announced that the current head of communications at Mercedes-Benz Cars, Christoph Horn, will become their new head of communications from the beginning of September. Horn will begin his new role on 16 September, 2015 when he will succeed Matthias Lenz, who left the company after 16 years as ZF's head of communication. Horn will report directly to ZF CEO Stefan Sommer.
