The Board of The European Investment Trust plc recommended a final dividend of 14.0 pence per share and a special dividend of 1.0 pence per share, a total of 15.0 pence per share. The proposed total dividend of 15.0 pence compares with the prior year total dividend of 18.0 pence. Subject to the approval of shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting, these dividends will be paid on January 30, 2015 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on January 09, 2015. The ex-dividend date will be January 08, 2015.
