Compañía Española de Petróleos, S.A.U. Reaches Agreement with Continental AG, to Supply XTAR Lubricants for National Network of Auto Repair Shops

Compania Espanola de Petroleos, S.A.U., has reached an agreement with Continental AG, to supply XTAR lubricants for its national network of auto repair shops, which it runs under the BestDrive franchise. BestDrive, the network's trade name, is present in 16 countries in Europe and has more than 900 points of sale. For now the agreement will entail increasing sales of Cepsa's organic lubricants and refrigerants at 186 points of sale located throughout Spain. At the signing of the agreement in Cepsa Tower, Gonzalo Gimenez highlighted Cepsa's 'premium' status as a supplier, adding that 'Cepsa is also the supplier that has best adapted to the needs of BestDrive auto repair shop network.' Carlos Giner, in turn, stressed the strategic nature of the alliance with Continental.
Compania Espanola de Petroleos, S.A.U. Wins Lubricants Supply Contract from SASEMAR

Compania Espanola de Petroleos, S.A.U. or Cepsa has won a lubricants supply contract from the SASEMAR. Having been granted the award of the contract the company will supply lubricants to the rescue boats and ships belonging to this public entity. Cepsa will meet the oil and grease supply needs of the 73 vessels which comprise the SASEMAR fleet: 55 Salvamar-class vessels (agile speed boats with a shallow hull used when a rapid response is needed), 14 tugs, and 4 Guardamar-class vessels (that have similar characteristics as the Salvamars, but are bigger). The one-year contract, with a one-year extension option, will cover an estimated supply of around 60 tons of lubricants. It also includes periodic analysis of the delivered product, to guarantee the efficiency and optimum performance of the vessels.

Cepsa has announced the appointment of H.E. Al Mazrouei as chairman of the board, succeeding H.E. Khadem Al Qubaisi, who recently tendered his resignation. As part of the recent restructuring of IPIC's Board of Directors, H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei, current Minister of Energy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was designated Managing Director of IPIC.
