Centerplate announced it has been awarded the long-term contract with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to serve Southern Nevada's millions of guests at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center, following a lengthy and competitive bidding process. The contract, which was approved by the LVCVA Board of Directors on, will grant Centerplate exclusivity for all catering, food and beverage, and vending services at the two venues beginning January 1, 2017.

With over a decade at Centerplate and its preceding companies, Pile most recently served as the company's executive responsible for hospitality services at a number of cultural and entertainment attractions including the Twycross Zoo, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, and the RAF Hendon Museum, among others. Centerplate Announces Hospitality Partnership with The Greater Columbus Convention Center

The Greater Columbus Convention Center and Centerplate announced a new agreement to enhance the hospitality program for the leading convention destination located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio. A building with 1.7 million square feet of flexible, customizable meeting and exhibit space, the Greater Columbus Convention Center is surrounded by a lively restaurant, shopping and entertainment district—right in the center of the city, the state, and the country. Through the new agreement, Centerplate will be responsible for food and beverage services at all public and private events and restaurants beginning on February 25, 2015.
