NSF International and the NSF Council of Public Health Consultants have appointed Norman Christopher as the joint committee chair of the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard. As chair, Mr. Christopher will manage the joint committee, communicate between the committee and the CPHC, adjudicate issues in the balloting and public review processes, and participate in appeals.

NSF International appointed business development directors in two of its key territories: Darryl Yun will be responsible for the Greater China region from NSF Internationa's office in Shanghai and Marisol Rosemberg Llanos will oversee the Latin American region from NSF International's office in Lima, Peru. In their new roles, Yun and Rosemberg Llanos will help expand all of NSF International’s programs in their respective regions. Prior to joining NSF International, Yun was a Strategic Business Development Director for Bureau Veritas – Shanghai, where he was responsible for finance, sales, human resources, market research and public relations. Prior to joining NSF International, she held managerial positions at SGS, Peru where she oversaw sales, business development and auditing operations. Her experience in the industry will allow her to leverage her knowledge in order to expand NSF International’s inspection, testing and certification services in the areas of food, water, management systems and pharma biotech throughout Latin America.
NSF International Appoints Kevin Swoffer as Technical Director of its Global Food Safety Division

NSF International has appointed Kevin Swoffer as Technical Director of its Global Food Safety Division. Additionally, NSF promoted Stephen Cox to Global Managing Director, NSF Agriculture and Grace O'Dwyer to Director of Operations for NSF's Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. With nearly 40 years of experience in the food retail and manufacturing sectors, Swoffer has held a number of senior executive positions, including Head of Technical Services at British Retail Consortium, where he was instrumental in developing the BRC series of standards and the Safe and Local Supplier Approval scheme (SALSA). He has also worked at Nestle UK and Safeway UK in several technical roles, and most recently served as a consultant to a number of global organizations. In his role, working as a member of the NSF Technical Services and Consulting Leadership Group, Swoffer will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving services consistent with corporate strategy and meeting the needs of NSF clients. He will provide technical support, advice and guidance to members of NSF teams in the EMEA region.
