Stonebridge Financial and Genalta Power Close on $31 Million Long Term Financing Facility

Stonebridge Financial Corp. announced the closing of a $31.0 million, long-term debt facility for the construction and operation of two waste energy-to-power projects in Alberta. enalta III Limited Partnership ("Genalta III") is a portfolio owned by Genalta Power Inc.("Genalta") and is comprised of the Baytex project, a 20MW gas-to-power project, and the Harvest Project, a 5.6MW simple cycle turbine. The debt facility arranged by Stonebridge was funded by Alberta Treasury Branches, and represents the second debt financing transaction provided for Genalta by Stonebridge and ATB.
Genalta Power Enters Agreement with Shell to Generate an Additional 5MW from Peace River Solution Gas

Genalta Power Inc. announced that it will be increasing the capacity of its Peace River Generation Facilities after entering into an agreement with Shell Canada. The additional capacity will be utilizing produced gas that is associated with Shell's Peace River bitumen (Cliffdale) cold production as source fuel to generate approximately 5MW of electricity. This is Genalta Power's second produced gas to power arrangement with Shell. The first, signed in 2012, allows Genalta Power to generate 4MW of electricity from Shell's produced gas. Together, these two facilities will generate enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of over 10,000 homes in Alberta.
Genalta Power to Build 12 MW Power Generating Facility

Genalta Power Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Baytex Energy Ltd. for the construction of an electrical power generating facility located near Baytex's Peace River Field in northern Alberta. The facility will be an industry leading power plant designed specifically to reduce the amount of solution gas being flared in the area while providing a new source of low emissions electricity for approximately 14,000 Alberta homes. Genalta Power will engineer, own, and operate this power generation facility, which is forecast to be commissioned in late 2014.
