Kyivstar reported an increase in revenues of 11% year-on-year to UAH 3.7 billion in the second quarter of 2016, despite a challenging macro-economic environment.

Kyivstar Launches 3G Services in Zaporizhzhya Region

Kyivstar has launched its 3G services in the town of Berdyansk and several other resorts on the coast of the Azov Sea in the Zaporizhzhya region. Some 135,000 residents can use the services in the settlements. 3G services from Kyivstar are currently available in over 1,800 settlements across the country including 20 million residents. The operator plans to cover 58% of the country's population by the end of this year.

Kyivstar Expands 3G Network in 3 Regions

Kyivstar announced that it has expanded the coverage of its 3G network in the Odessa, Mikolayiv and Kherson regions. 3G services have been launched in 50 additional settlements there; the list includes the towns of Bolgrad, Ananyiv, Nova-Dolina, Bilyari, Chormomorsk in the Odessa region, Veliki-Kopani, Radensk, Novotroitske and Vinogradove in the Kherson region, Yuzhnoukrainsk, Bratske, Krive-Ozero and Vradiivka in the Mikolayiv region.
