Greater Media announced Mary Menna has been promoted to vice president and market manager of the company’s Boston-based properties, including WMJX-FM, WBOS-FM, WROR-FM, WKLB-FM and WBQT-FM in Boston. She will begin her new position on August 24, 2015. The Boston radio veteran joined Greater Media as General Manager at WMJX-FM in May of 2014. Prior to that, she worked as the market president of Clear Channel Media + Entertainment – Boston, where she spent 25 years serving in a variety of capacities, including director of sales, general sales manager, national sales manager and account executive. While in that capacity, she also managed Clear Channel’s Providence market for four years. In her new role, Menna will be responsible for overseeing the management and sales responsibilities of Greater Media’s Boston-based radio stations. Menna began her radio career straight out of Boston College at WBCN-FM.
