Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Expands its iHeartRadio Hispanic Network

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announced the expansion of its iHeartRadio Hispanic Network with the introduction of Mexico’s Grupo ACIR radio stations, which owns and/or operates more than 55 stations across Mexico. Most of these stations will be available on iHeartRadio everywhere it is offered including the web, mobile, gaming, home entertainment and automotive. The addition of ACIR’s stations to iHeartRadio will provide listeners with instant access to some of the most recognized Mexican national radio brands such as Amor, featuring Spanish love songs; Mix, playing Mexico’s favorite songs from the 80s, 90s and at present in English; Comadre, a Mexican Regional Hits format; and Felicidad offering Mexico’s favorite Oldies. Listeners will also have access to top Hispanic personalities like Alejandro Villalvazo, Antonio de Valdés, Charo Fernández, Sofía Sánchez Navarro, Iñaki Manero, Rocío Córdova, Carlos “Chicken” Muñoz, Carlos Martín Huerta, José Martín Sámano, Alex Montiel, Pepe Segarra, Arturo “Rudo” Rivera and more. In addition, iHeartRadio will stream select local ACIR stations such as Siempre, Mexico City’s music, news and sports station, and La 1260, Mexico City’s AM News/Talk station. Clear Channel will also become the digital ad sales provider for these market-leading Mexican stations replacing all local Mexican station ads with consumer-targeted U.S. ads. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Appoints Liz Sarachek Blacker as Executive Vice President of Hispanic Strategy and Sales, Effective from August 4, 2014

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment announced that U.S. Hispanic advertising expert, Liz Sarachek Blacker, will join the company as Executive Vice President of Hispanic Strategy and Sales, effective August 4, 2014. In this new position, Blacker will develop and advance the company's overall strategy to engage and activate the Hispanic audience across all platforms. She will focus on driving revenue in the category, working with multi-cultural agencies to create custom campaigns for advertisers that leverage Clear Channel's unmatched reach with the Hispanic community. Blacker will also work closely with Clear Channel's National Programming Platforms team to create products, content and live events that focus on engaging and monetizing the Hispanic audience. Blacker joins Clear Channel from Terra USA, where she has served as Chief Revenue Officer since 2011. She also previously held senior leadership positions at ImpreMedia LLC and One Economy Corporation. Notably, Blacker was also previously the Executive Director and Co-Creator of Yahoo's U.S. Hispanic Division from 2002-2005 creating premium bi-lingual partnerships with leading brands. She is also an active member of Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) co-founding its first Multicultural Task Force and is a co-founder of the Internet Advertising Bureau's (IAB) Multicultural Committee. Blacker will be based out of New York City and will report to Tim Castelli, President of National Sales, Marketing and Partnerships at Clear Channel.

This first-of-its-kind radio optimization tool enables local and national political campaigns across the country to precisely target key voter segments using radio- which was confirmed by recent research to be one of the most effective and efficient consumer advertising vehicles. AuDiO will be available to political candidates nationwide for the 2014 campaign cycle.
