Renaissance Capital Seeks Investments In Iran

Renaissance Capital (RenCap) is seeking investment in Iran if international sanctions are lifted. “Iran is the largest economy in the world that is currently closed to institutional investors,” Ben Samuels, global head of equities and interim head of research of Renaissance Capital, said in an interview in Moscow on June 23, 2015. RenCap, as the Moscow-based firm is known, is seeking to “identify potential investment opportunities in the Iranian market,” if sanctions are lifted, he said.
