Airbus Materials and Logistics Management Expands Contract with NORDAM

NORDAM announced that Airbus Materials and Logistics Management has expanded its structural-component repair agreement with the company. NORDAM already repairs flight-control surfaces and makes cabin windows used on Airbus' A320 aircraft. With the recently broadened scope of work, NORDAM will replace elevator fittings and skin panels for the aircraft as well. The work will take place at NORDAM's Repair Division located at Pine Street and U.S. 169.

NORDAM and GE Capital Aviation Services' Asset Management Services (GECAS AMS) announced that their partnership to provide airline customers with flight control systems begins July 1, 2015. The program begins with Airbus A320 flight controls, which are stocked in Tulsa, Okla., and Victorville, Calif. locations. It will expand soon to include flight controls for other aircraft types, with a goal of expanding the program to other aircraft products in the future.
