Effective August 1, 2015, Webasto SE is reorganizing its Management Board. Matthias Arleth (48) and Jurgen Reimer (45) are strengthening the management board of the company. Matthias Arleth enhances the Board with his expertise in the roof business. Since 2011 he has been responsible for the European sunroof business and in 2013 he was appointed to the management board of the division. In that position, he is the deputy to Dr. Holger Engelmann and in charge of North American and European business as well as for Research & Development. Jurgen Reimer is now in charge of Finance and IT as a member of the Management Board of the Webasto Group. He has been with the company since 2008, initially as Member of the Management Board for Finance of the roof systems division and since 2013 additionally as the CFO of the Webasto Group.
Webasto Expands Romanian Plant

Webasto has expanded its sunroofs and panorama roofs manufacturing plant in Arad, Romania. The company inaugurated the third building phase, covering around a 10,000-m area on 11 June. The company invested around EUR 65 million (USD 73.3 million) in the plant. The expansion has increased the total area of the facility to 26,000 square meters. It is developing its production facility in Arad into the large plant for sunroofs and panorama roofs in Europe.
Webasto Announces the Expansion in China

Webasto is accelerating expansion in China. On November 8, 2013, its biggest production base for car skylights situated in Chongqing City, southwest China started operation. The new plant covers 1.6 hectares and has a total investment of EUR 6.4 million, signaling that Webasto is expanding production capacity in China. The production base is expected to output 700,000 car skylights per year by 2016, benefiting from robust economic growth in west China.
