Toyota Motor Thailand Launches ESport Version of Camry

Toyota Motor Thailand has introduced the ESport version of the Camry mid-size family saloon. The model is based on the 2.5-litre petrol model and will deliver 185bhp and 235Nm when compared to 181hp and 231Nm in the standard model. It features a black front grille and projector-type headlights, rear spoiler and twin exhaust pipes and interiors with front sport seats, metal-studded pedals and sunroof. The vehicle is to be priced at THB 1.639 million.

Toyota has finally pulled the wraps off its much-anticipated all-new one-tonne pickup truck, Hilux, which is hoped to help dramatically re-energise the stalled automobile market. The new model, which sports the Revo badge, is priced from THB 569,000 to THB 1.139 million. It is available with a choice of diesel and gasoline engines and three body styles Ã¢â â standard cab, smart cab and double cab. The various configurations add up to 33 sub models. Toyota plans to sell 14,000 new Hiluxes per month, up from the 11,000-unit average during the first quarter of the year. The pickup truck market has been suffering from low prices of agricultural products and high household debt.
