Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed six new Airbus A321neo aircraft on long-term leases with Vietnam Airlines. These highly fuel efficient aircraft are from ACG's firm order book with Airbus and are scheduled for delivery in 2018 and 2019.

Vietnam Airlines And Vinatex To Go Public In January 2017

Vietnam National Textile Garment Group and Vietnam Airlines JSC will be stepping into the Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCoM) on January 3, 2017, according to the Hanoi Stock Exchange. Vinatex will go public with code VGT at a starting price of 13,500 VND per share. Vietnam Airlines trade 1.22 billion shares with the code HVN at a starting price of 28,000 VND per share. State holds 86.16% of the Vietnam Airlines and 54% of Vinatex.

Kenya Airways Expands Codeshare Agreement with Vietnam Airlines

Kenya Airways has expanded its four year old codeshare agreement with Vietnam Airlines to include Kuala Lumpur as it seeks to grow its business on the Asia's route. The expanded agreement will cover routes on Bangkok-Hanoi and Saigon, NairobiHanoi, and Hanoi-Kuala Lumpur. Under the agreement, Kenya Airways will place its two codeshare flights on Vietnam Airlines services enabling connectivity to Kuala Lumpur three times a week on the NairobiHanoi direct services. Vietnam Airlines will place its two codeshare flights on the Kenya Airways Hanoi-Kuala Lumpur services operating on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
