Based in Towry's offices in New Street Square, Martin (pictured) has been appointed to help expand the firm's presence in the London professional partnership market. At Barclays Wealth & Investment Management Martin was vice president of the bank's wealth advisory unit, holding the role since 2010.
Towry Appoints Steven Midgley as Head of Sales Strategy

Towry has appointed Steven Midgley as head of sales strategy and operations. Following the completion of Towry's acquisition of Ashcourt, Midgley joins the firm's Leeds office as part of its private client team. He will be responsible for developing the strategy and operations of the team. He was previously the managing director of Ashcourt's financial planning arm and a member of the board. Before joining Ashcourt in 2013, he held senior positions at National Australia Group, Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.
