eClinicalWorks, LLC Key Developments

Medical Associates of Clinton, IA Selects eClinicalWorks for its 49 Providers Across Four Locations

eClinicalWorks announced that Medical Associates of Clinton, IA, has selected eClinicalWorks comprehensive electronic health records (EHR) for its 49 providers across four locations. Use of the technology will support care coordination between physicians and patients by providing access to critical information at the point of care. eClinicalWorks' cloud-based 10e EHR solution will assist Medical Associates by offering streamlined services between locations and a fully-integrated technology platform to effectively treat their patients across settings. The use of eClinicalMobile will allow providers to access the system at any time through smart-phones, while eClinicalMessenger will enable messaging to patients, either singularly, or in batches. The healow (Health and Online Wellness) solution will offer patients the convenience of scheduling future appointments, viewing lab results, and connecting with their providers through a secure messaging system.

eClinicalWorks Launches Telehealth Solution on Healow Mobile App

eClinicalWorks has made its telehealth solution available on its Health & Online Wellness (healow) mobile app. This service will provide patients with live video visits. The TeleVisits feature has been integrated within the eClinicalWorks electronic health records (EHR) platform. All the information submitted by patients with the help of this solution can be imported into EHR, which in turn will help to support workflow, clinical research and boost patient satisfaction as they will have access to care when required. As telehealth is going mainstream, several providers are investing in third-party services instead of integrating it with the practice's existing technology; however, this means that patients will have to go through the trouble of downloading additional apps, remembering their login information and facing the inconvenience of not having their telehealth summaries linked with their personal health records. Its solutions are used by more than 125,000 physicians and nurse practitioners. Among the customers include physician practices, hospitals, community health centers, departments of health, and convenient care clinics.

Providers will have complete access to a patient's medical history. Ezras Choilim will also be utilizing eClinicalWorks Population Health Solution and Population Care Planning for Behavioral Health, which provides a suite of tools to improve the quality of care and access across all settings, facilitates smooth transitions of care, engages patients and providers in preventative care and improves outcomes among its populations.
