DLT Solutions Wins $20 Billion NIH CIOCS Contract

DLT Solutions announced that it was awarded the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center's (NITAAC) newest multiple award, government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) for information technology: Chief Information Officers - Commodities and Solutions (CIOCS). The NIH CIOCS contract is the follow-on to the Electronic Commodities Store III (ECS III) contract previously held by DLT Solutions and covers a 10 year period with potential funds totaling $20 billion to provide the entire federal government with IT solutions. Since being awarded CIO-CS on May 1, the company has already received three awards against the contract totaling nearly $1 million. The NIH CIOCS contract is designed to support traditional IT offerings as well as efforts around health and biomedical related IT. Agencies will have a choice of making traditional buys, or use a cloud approach for various X-as-a-service offerings: On-Premise Model: Commodities and products are deployed onsite either within the Government site or at another contractor site. In this model, additional 'Bundled' services may be required which include but are not limited to provisioning, deployment, installations, warranty and maintenance, engineering assessment studies and training. Managed Services Model (includes deployment on the Public Cloud): As demonstrated by market conditions and trends over the last five years, along with a number of federal policies such as FedRAMP, the Cloud First Initiative, the 25 point plan and data center consolidation initiatives, the Contractor deploys IT commodities via managed services and the Cloud. In addition, under the scope of this contract, DLT Solutions may provide commodity enabling services that will ensure the successful operation and sustenance of the IT commodities.

DLT Solutions Announces Symantec Enterprise Vault for Amazon Web Services

DLT Solutions announced the launch of its new cloud-hosted, private email archiving solution, Symantec Enterprise Vault for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Architected by company's, the solution brings together Symantec’s Enterprise Vault and the FedRAMP Compliant Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. Symantec Enterprise Vault enables government agencies to efficiently store, effectively manage and easily discover and retrieve unstructured information as needed. A pilot program from the company is available for new users that are interested in implementing the solution within their environments. With Symantec Enterprise Vault for AWS, public sector organizations can leverage an on-demand, elastic, scalable, and fully-configured environment for archiving of their unstructured data and correspondence. With Symantec Enterprise Vault for AWS, public sector customers gain greater control over the management of email for records management, electronic discovery, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) purposes, as well as providing the ability to rapidly respond to congressional inquiries. Symantec Enterprise Vault for AWS benefits include: Integration with cloud based email providers; Compliance with the National Archives and Records Administration’s (NARA) Capstone Guidance for email records management and the Office of Management and Budget Directive 12-18; Secure and true immutable email repository preserving Blind Carbon Copy (BCC); One central email repository for agency counsel, FOIA professionals, and internal investigators to better respond to congressional inquiries, FOIA requests, electronic discovery, and internal investigations; Hosting on the FedRAMP compliant IaaS platform from AWS; Integration with downstream electronic discovery tools for advanced analysis, review, and production; and no additional capital investment in infrastructure and a flexible pricing model.
