Anite plc Key Developments

Anite Signs Contract with Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission for QoS Measurements and Analytics Solutions

Anite plc announced that it has been selected to provide measurement and analytics solutions to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). Under the agreement, Anite Network Testing will supply installation and commissioning of backpack, handheld, portable, and fixed QoS measurement and analytics tools for voice, data, and video services on 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, CDMA, and WiMAX networks. The telecom regulator will measure a range of KPIs, such as call-drop rate, received call, MOS, call setup time, call success rates, and other QoS parameters. The contract comprises Anite's Nemo Walker and Nemo Invex II for in-building and outdoor measurements and benchmarking, and Nemo WindCatcher with multi-file-format (multi-vendor) support for network analysis and post-processing.

Uzmobile Chooses Anite Nemo Tools for Drive Testing, Benchmarking, and Remote Management

Anite announced that its Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Invex II, Nemo FSR1, Nemo Analyze, and Nemo Commander have been chosen by Uzmobile Telecom, an operator working in CDMA450/EV-DO/GSM/WCDMA/LTE-A technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Uzmobile provides mobile services to their subscribers in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Uzmobile decided to choose Anite's Nemo Drive Testing and Benchmarking tools due to their versatility and broad technology support. Remote control and management of these tools with Nemo Commander bring direct process improvements and efficiency gains, streamlining OPEX. Based on Nemo tools, Uzmobile plans to build a mobile laboratory that will enable them to evaluate radio coverage and the quality of different services.

Verkotan Laboratory Selects Anite's Propsim F32 Channel Emulator for Advanced and Rapid MIMO OTA Testing

Anite has announced that Verkotan laboratory has recently selected Anite's Propsim F32 Channel Emulator to enable faster MIMO OTA testing in Verkotan's advanced wireless performance laboratory. Based in Finland, the laboratory includes a anechoic chamber large enough to test laptops as well as base stations aimed for deployment in 5G networks. Verkotan works closely with major mobile operators and manufacturers of wireless equipment, including wearables, seeking to outsource its testing needs to a high-end laboratory equipped to handle a wide range of testing requirements such as those mandated by CTIA. Anite's Propsim F32 enables Verkotan to verify that mobile devices with the latest technology features, including multiple antenna configurations and carrier aggregation, perform as expected. In August last year, CTIA released a standardised MIMO OTA performance test plan, which many manufacturers and mobile operators aim to conform with to ensure high levels of end-user experience. Propsim's FAST-OTA capability enables Verkotan to accelerate MIMO OTA testing of mobile devices by more than ten times compared to conventional testing methods. Anite's Propsim F32 Channel Emulator is the only single unit channel emulator that supports the minimum requirement of eight dual polarized antennas for MIMO OTA testing in an anechoic chamber. It can be expanded to support 16 dual polarized antennas (required for testing larger devices), making it a future-proof solution for upcoming technologies and device formats.
