SFR Appoints Michel Paulin as CEO

SFR has appointed Michel Paulin as CEO and announced a new executive committee. Paulin, currently CEO of Moroccan operator Meditel, will take up the position in the second quarter. Paulin spent most of his career in the telecom industry. SFR's leadership team consists of ten members who will take their positions by the end of the first quarter.

SFR has appointed a new board structured into three areas, commerce, operations and support. Until a new CEO is appointed later this month, chairman Michel Combes will be acting CEO. The Altice-owned Numericable-SFR subsidiary's board members include Jerome Yomtov (deputy CEO), Guillaume de Lavallande (executive director (ED) for enterprise), Eric Pradeau (ED operators), Philippe Le May (ED networks), and Emeric Don't (ED process and QoS).
SFR Offers its FttH Service in the City of Bourges

SFR has started offering its FttH service in the city of Bourges over Orange's fibre network. SFR said that its 1 Gbps fibre service is now available to 6,000 homes in several parts of the city. Another 1,000 will become eligible by the end of the year and the rollout will progressively reach another 30,000 premises in the next few years. Customers wanting 1 Gbps connectivity must sign up to the Fibre Power+ plan with the Booster option, costing an extra EUR 2 a month. Fibre Power+ without this option offers a peak speed of 400 Mbps, with unlimited calls to fixed and mobile numbers and 280 TV channels. It costs EUR 42.99 a month for the first year. There are two other plans, Fibre starter (100 Mbps, unlimited calls, 200 channels) and Fibre Power (200 Mbps, unlimited calls and 240 channels).
