Panasonic Announces Debut of First Slow Juicer in U.S. Market
Jan 5 15
Panasonic unveiled its first Slow Juicer product for the U.S. market at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show as part of its expanded line-up of healthy-lifestyle small home appliances. The Panasonic Slow Juicer (MJ-L500) features a stainless steel juicing screw and a powerful low-speed DC150W motor which enables the user to also create healthy drinks and frozen confections from frozen fruits and vegetables as well as hard or dense whole foods. The Slow Juicer will be available in July via panasonic.com and other retailers. The slow juicing method of extracting juice from fruits and vegetables has shown benefits over traditional juicers. Traditional juicers cut and spin food like a lawn mower -- causing damage to the nutrients. The spinning action also creates heat and introduces air which can oxidize the juice and degrade its color and flavor. Panasonic's Slow Juicer presses and squashes fruits and vegetables like a mortar - which avoids damage to nutrients and limits the heat and air exposure so that the juices maintain their natural color and great taste. The Panasonic Slow Juicer's sleek design houses a low-speed motor which operates at 45 spins per minute and is rated for 15 minutes of continuous operation. Included with the MJ-L500 are an anti-drip cap, juice beaker, pulp beaker and an attachment for making frozen foods like ice cream or gelato.
Panasonic Debuts Cyclonic-Wave Microwave Oven Line
Jan 5 15
Panasonic announced the debut of its Cyclonic Wave Microwave Oven line at the 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Panasonic's Cyclonic-Wave technology evenly distributes microwave energy to ensure that foods are perfectly thawed and evenly heated and cooked. The Panasonic Cyclonic-Wave Microwave Oven line includes two sizes 2.2 cubic ft. (NN-SE985S) and 1.6 cubic ft. (NN-SE785S). Both models will be available in April via panasonic.com and other retailers. Pricing and additional availability details will be announced at a later date. Most microwave ovens radiate energy in straight lines (top and bottom) and are unable to reach all food surfaces evenly, resulting in uneven heating and cooking results. Panasonic Cyclonic-Wave Microwave Ovens deliver microwave energy gently and evenly in a three dimensional, circular pattern which contacts all food evenly, regardless of food shape and size, for remarkably even cooking results. Panasonic Cyclonic-Wave Microwave Ovens can be installed as countertop or built-in units and features electrostatic glass touch control panels, 1,250 watts of cooking power, multi-stage cooking, 20 programmable sensor cook and reheat options, and a turbo defrost mode. The SE985S features a 16.5-inch turntable diameter and the SE785S offers a 15-inch diameter.

Jan 5 15
Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company announced the debut of the new LT-series Arc3 3-blade Wet/Dry Shavers at the 2015 International CES. Equipped with new features and design innovations including the Enhanced Multi-Flex Pivoting Head, the new LT-series have been designed to provide a close, comfortable shave experience. The new shaver series will be available in summer of 2015. The ES-LT7N, ES-LT5N and ES-LT3N Arc3 Wet/Dry Men's Electric Shavers are equipped with new features including the Enhanced Multi-Flex Pivoting Head which allows smooth, multi-dimensional movement of the shaver head back and forth; left and right; up and down for close, continuous contact with the skin and seamless tracing of the contours of the face, neck and jawline. Sharp nanotech blades are powered by a 13,000 CPM (cycle per minute) linear motor and have been honed to an acute 30-degree angle for a superior cutting performance. Multi-fit Arc Foils follow the contours of the face for more efficient coverage and maximum comfort while shaving.
