Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and Westfield unveiled the new Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 2, an important milestone in the LAX modernization, featuring a brand new design along with 16 new dining and retail brands. Serving more than 5.2 million passengers annually, international Terminal 2 joins Tom Bradley International Terminal as a world-class hub for global travelers. Nearly 76,000 square feet of space at Terminal 2 has been transformed, including more than 15,000 square feet of new dining and retail. Westfield helped to curate a dining and retail collection that includes 16 new concepts, seven of which are Southern California brands. The upgrades throughout the terminal create a more holistic customer journey.

TGP Enterprises Inc. announced the successful resolution to a four year litigation case against Los Angeles World Airport and Los Angeles Airport Authority. The case was resolved to the satisfaction of all parties and the parties have come to a mutual and amicable agreement. In addition, TGP Enterprises Inc. has secured and will continue with its service with a new five year contract with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA).
Delta Air Lines, Inc. Announces Completion of Terminal 5 at Los Angeles International Airport

The experience at Los Angeles International Airport's Terminal 5 June 10, 2015 reflects the style of the city and its travelers as Delta Air Lines unveils the completion of a three-year terminal-wide refurbishment, including the airline's first private check-in lounge, Delta ONE at LAX. The $229-million Delta project was completed in partnership with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the City of Los Angeles. Delta ONE at LAX provides the most innovative premium check-in experience at LAX of any carrier and is consistent with Delta's other premium offerings on-board and at the airport. Customers flying in Delta One enter the terminal through a dedicated curbside entrance, leading to a private, modern check-in lounge with personalised luggage check, high-design atmosphere, and a refreshment bar. Customers also access a dedicated security checkpoint directly from the Delta ONE at LAX lounge. Additionally, a renovated Sky Club offers more space and an improved customer experience, including 100 additional seats; new shower suites and renovated bathrooms; an updated food area with cafe seating; and new furnishings and fixtures. New restaurants and shops in Terminal 5 feature celebrity chefs and retail brand names that reflect the cuisine, culture and lifestyle of Los Angeles. Other Terminal 5 enhancements include new jet bridges; a renovated Sky Priority lobby; an expanded ticketing lobby and four additional security screening checkpoints; and new baggage carousels and international baggage recheck facilities.
