IntelePeer Announces its Call Path Service

IntelePeer announced its Call Path service, a simple, easy-to-order SIP solution that enables enterprises to easily migrate their phone system connectivity from legacy ISDN PRI /TDM technology to the most advanced SIP service. Call Path makes this migration easy with a package that provides a simple cost savings comparison and minimal disruption to business’ communications. IntelePeer’s new Call Path offering includes all the communications capabilities required to rapidly activate an on-premise or cloud-based UC solution. The pricing plan is aligned with traditional ISDN PRI packaging, and call paths (or ports) can be ordered in single channel increments, making it easy to realize the benefits and cost savings of moving to SIP. As opposed to installing and maintaining physical equipment required with legacy PRI /TDM deployments, SIP offers much more flexibility and visibility into the ordering and management of voice services. Through IntelePeer’s self-serve portal, businesses can make near real-time changes to their services and scale capacity on demand to meet changing business requirements. IntelePeer’s Call Path offering includes: Unlimited inbound and local outbound calling minutes; Domestic outbound long distance, toll-free and international charges incurred on a per-minute basis; Direct Inward Dialing (DIDs) and Toll-Free Numbers ordered a la carte; Secure TLS/SRTP encryption available at no additional charge; Active QoS monitoring and capacity management ensures a worry-free user experience; Support for high-availability and disaster recovery deployments; International DIDs available to create a virtual presence in foreign countries with calls routed back to the customer’s domestic location; Over The Top Internet and Ethernet connections available; Installation and 24 x 7 x 365 support. IntelePeer Promotes Matt Edic to Chief Experience Officer

IntelePeer announced that Matt Edic has been named the Chief eXperience Officer (CXO). Effective immediately, Edic will lead all customer-facing support teams and customer experience initiatives. Since joining IntelePeer in 2008, Edic has held leadership roles in Engineering, Sales, and Business Development. Most recently, he headed up the Customer Experience team, including Solutions Engineering, Service Delivery and Account Management groups, providing customers with an improved on boarding process and lifecycle support. In his new role, Edic will oversee the delivery of a seamless experience across all customer-facing support teams, which will now include the Operations team responsible for service activations and around the clock support for IntelePeer CoreCloud® services.
