HKBN Ltd. Announces Executive Changes

HKBN Ltd. announced that with effect from 1 March 2017, Ni Quiaque Lai will be named Chief Operating Officer. Formerly the Group's Chief Talent & Financial Officer, NiQ, in this expanded new role, will lead the Group's sales and marketing operations for the residential market whilst he retains executive oversight of his previous CT&FO responsibilities in finance, legal as well as Talent engagement. NiQ's appointment leverages a multifunctional perspective to consolidate greater synergy between HKBN's various teams to drive sustainable growth for the Group's business and operations. Whilst NiQ will retain executive oversight in the respective areas of finance, Talent engagement and legal, Andrew Wong, Financial Controller, CY Chan, Associate Director -- Talent Management & Organization Development and Co-Owner, and Amy Tam, Head of Legal & Company Secretary and Co-Owner, will step up to take on more operational management responsibilities in their respective areas. As COO, NiQ will report directly to CEO and Co-Owner William Yeung. The Group also announced that its Chief Marketing Officer, Selina Chong, has decided to step down from her role with effect from 19 March 2017 to focus on new opportunities beyond HKBN.

HKBN and China Mobile Hong Kong Launches 4G Monthly Plans

HKBN in partnership with China Mobile Hong Kong has launched 4G monthly plans. When customers port their mobile number to the HKBN network, they will receive 5GB of mobile data, access to myTV Super app (regularly priced at HKD 380 for 12 months; averaging HKD 31.6 per month) and home telephone service (available for a standard price of HKD 98 per month). The plan is available for HKD 90 per month. Customers who also opt for fibre broadband will have access to a 4-in-1 bundled service available for a starting price of HKD 266 per month. The 4G bundle plans are available at all HKBN points of sale.

HKBN Ltd. announced that with effect from 3 January 2017 Mr. Leung King Chiu ceased to be the company secretary and authorized representative of the company and Ms. Tam Maria Amy has been appointed as the company secretary and authorized representative of the company. Tam joined the company as Legal Counsel on 1 June 2015 and which position was re-titled as the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs in April 2016 and is responsible for overseeing the Company's legal and regulatory matters. Ms. Tam has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Tam held senior position as Senior Legal Advisor at MTR Corporation Limited.
