Bloomin' Brands, Inc. has announced the appointment of Gregg Scarlett as its executive vice president and president of Bonefish Grill. In this role, Scarlett will be responsible for leading the operations and development of Bonefish Grill restaurants across the US. Scarlett most recently served as the Senior vice president of Casual Dining Restaurant (CDR) Operations for Bloomin' Brands and was responsible for capturing and implementing operational best practices across the three CDR brands. He was promoted to Joint Venture Partner for Bonefish Grill shortly after it was acquired by Bloomin' Brands, and later became vice president of Operations for the brand.

Bonefish Grill Builds $1.6 Million Restaurant in Brentwood

Bonefish Grill announced that it is building a $1.6 million restaurant in Brentwood, set to open this fall. The 8,000-square-foot space, set to open in October, will seat 380. It features an indoor dining area and outdoor patio with a fireplace. The restaurant will be in front of a new Drury Inn in Brentwood, a $35.5 million hotel with 210 rooms that is set to be completed this year. The company has 194 locations nationwide, opened 20 locations in 2013 and plans to open 15 in 2014. Company officials plan to have 300 locations open within the next four to six years.
