Public Company Accounting Oversight Board is a non-profit body established to oversee public accounting firms and facilitate standardized audit reports preparation for companies that are subject to the securities laws. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Promotes Mark A. Adler to Deputy Director and Chief Trial Counsel in the Division of Enforcement and Investigations

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board announced that Mark A. Adler has been promoted to Deputy Director and Chief Trial Counsel in the Division of Enforcement and Investigations, where he will oversee the litigation program, effective May 12. Since joining the PCAOB in December 2010, Adler has litigated enforcement proceedings as Deputy Chief Trial Counsel. Previously, Adler served at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Enforcement, both as Acting Chief and Deputy Chief Litigation Counsel.
Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Appoints Steven Richards as Senior Advisor to the Director of Enforcement and Investigations

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board announced that Steven Richards has been named the Senior Advisor to the Director of the Division of Enforcement and Investigations. Richards has served as Special Advisor to PCAOB Chairman James R. Doty since March 2011. In that role, Richards advised the Chairman on all matters that came before the Board and worked with the other Board members on the Board's priorities. Immediately prior to joining the PCAOB in 2011, Richards was a Managing Director in the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment of FTI Consulting Inc.
