Conde Nast Entertainment Appoints Jonathan Koa as Senior Vice President, Scripted Programming

Conde Nast Entertainment (CNE) announced that it has appointed Jonathan Koa as senior vice president, scripted programming, effective November 16, 2015. In his new role, Koa will be responsible for developing and producing scripted television projects for CNE. Conde Nast Announces Management Changes

Conde Nast has appointed Cameron Blanchard executive vice president of corporate communications, effective December 7, 2015. Blanchard succeeds Patricia Rckenwagner who has taken on a new communications role at AV Partners. Blanchard will be responsible for the company's communications and positioning strategies, media relations, employee and internal communications and corporate social responsibility priorities. She was previously senior vice president of corporate communications at NBCUniversal. Blanchard's tenure at NBCUniversal spanned nearly 20 years. In her most recent role, as senior vice president of corporate communications, she had direct responsibility for all corporate communications functions including ad sales, research, cable distribution, legal affairs, diversity, NBC stations and affiliates and internal communications. In her previous role, Blanchard served as head of communications for NBCUniversal's Entertainment and Digital Networks and Integrated Media division, comprised of a diverse portfolio of businesses including Telemundo Media, Bravo Media, Oxygen Media, Sprout and Fandango.

Conde Nast appointed Karthic Bala head of data strategy. Effective November 16, Bala will lead Conde Nast's data capabilities across the company's business groups, with a focus on growing its ad supported and consumer revenue streams. Throughout his career, Karthic has created data-based products that have driven revenue growth in digital media, programmatic ad sales and marketing solutions. He most recently served as president of Precision Health Data Institute at Everyday Health, where he built profitable data-led business products. Previously, he oversaw Viacom's business intelligence and data-warehousing department as its director of application development, and has worked at TIAA-CREF and IBM.
