Dell Software announced that Dell Boomi has appointed Christopher Port as its chief operations officer (COO), responsible for Support, Services, Success and Strategy, and Amede Hungerford as its chief marketing officer (CMO), responsible for driving market leadership, global awareness, demand generation, product marketing, strategic events and communications. The additions to the executive team reflect the need to scale operations around the world to support growing global demand for Dell Boomi’s cloud-based solutions for integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), API Management, and Master Data Management (MDM). Dell Boomi AtomSphere has doubled its integration processes in the last six months, now processing more than 3.1 billion cloud integrations per month. Previously, as a director within Dell’s corporate strategy group, Christopher Port led the acquisition of Dell Boomi in 2011 and was responsible for Dell Boomi’s post-acquisition integration and growth. Port was most recently a GM within Dell Software’s systems management group and one of the first Dell Software team members. His Dell career has spanned software, corporate strategy, corporate development, operations and finance. Prior to Dell, Port was a senior manager at Kurt Salmon, a global consultancy focused on the retail and consumer products sectors. Amede Hungerford brings to Dell Boomi more than two decades of experience in driving growth and innovation strategies across the enterprise software and technology market. Prior to Dell Boomi, he served as NetSuite’s vice president of global marketing and played an instrumental role in the Cloud ERP company’s explosive growth by scaling the marketing team, expanding into new markets, and moving up-market into the enterprise.

The Dell Boomi AtomSphere® iPaaS (integration platform as a service) enables Halogen Software to more easily and rapidly connect a customer’s existing employee data in their core HRIS/HRMS system to Halogen TalentSpace, improving the customer experience and making TalentSpace easier to connect to external HR systems.
