Active Data, Inc. announced the release of Active Calendar version 1.0.19, the company's SaaS event community platform software. Active Calendar version 1.0.19 includes several new features that will improve visitor use of customers' calendar sites. The newly introducedOne Click Registration, will appeal to site visitors who are looking for an express registration process. With a single click, visitors can register for free events or meetings, bypass the confirmation page, and be directed immediately to the thank you page. For Active Calendar customers with multiple calendar sites, the 1.0.19 update includes the addition of a Calendar Directory Page. By adding a link to this page on a desired website, site visitors have the ability to search, find, and navigate between all available calendar sites for a company or organization. Subscribing to private calendar updates makes its return in Active Calendar 1.0.19. Calendar users can now manage this feature in the My Profile Area to authorize the download of information to Outlook and Google calendars, or RSS readers.
Active Data Announces the Release of Version 3.14.7 for Active Data Calendar

Active Data announced the release of Active Data Calendar 3.14.7. The upgrade provides users with application performance enhancements, some much-asked-for updates to existing functionality, and the addition of new features. Automatic upgrades are available for hosted clients on November 25, 2014 at 11:00 PM EDT. Non-hosted clients are able to download the new version on December 4, 2014 after 5:00 PM EDT. There are two main features introduced in version 3.14.7. The first being an automatic approval option in regards to facilities management. With this feature, events automatically update to an organization’s public or private calendar, allowing users to skip the administrator approval process. The second feature allows users more flexibility in regards to holiday configuration. All holidays now support the specification of background colors, user ability to modify holiday headings, and the addition of creating “one-time holidays,” or holidays not on a recurring schedule. Active Calendar also enhanced several of its existing features. The main menu and summary view (calendar view) pages have significantly reduced loading times, providing users with improved software performance. The single sign on (SSO) process has also been optimized for increased user-friendliness and compatibility, and collapsible display is now available when viewing locations and categories.

Active Data announced the release of Active Data Calendar 3.14.5. Enhancements include: SAML (security assertion markup language) configuration. Allows user to build Single Sign On authentication so that when user are logged into user campus network, no login credentials are required to view Private Calendars. Allows administrative users to login and eliminates password management in Active Data Calendar. Other enhancements include improved sharing with Google Calendar, updates for Section 508 compliance, improved tracking of event deletion, adding registrations and events in the past. Additional improvements include: fexibility for changing room setup without triggering workflow rules, ability to modify single events within recurring schedules, improved handling of cancellation of events.
