Apr 28 14
GoDaddy announced its continued expansion into international markets. After beginning this international expansion fewer than two years ago and a recent successful release across Latin America, GoDaddy is now extending its offering more broadly across Europe. GoDaddy is offering localized products and support in 14 new languages. New countries served with this expansion include Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. GoDaddy's expanded global footprint offers products and support in 42 markets, 44 currencies and 17 languages. GoDaddy's goal is to empower small businesses around the world. As part of this effort, the company recently hired new regional heads in EMEA and LATAM, developed a highly localized marketing and advertising presence, and is adapting appropriate products to international markets. Newly supported languages include French, Dutch, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Ukrainian and Greek. The combination of a complete localized offering and local language customer care represents a significant commitment -- GoDaddy went beyond simple translation by localizing and customizing its offering to better serve small businesses in these local markets.
