He previously worked at the firm from 1998 to 2012. Mr. Crumpler has more than 15 years of experience working on corporate and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, financings, commercial transactions and contracts and general corporate planning and governance. He has extensive experience with the organization and use of partnerships, Sub S corporations and Virginia limited liability companies. Mr. Crumpler is an active member of the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association, where he is a member of the Business Section. He also serves on the board of directors of the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce.

Williams Mullen Announces Executive Changes

Marc Purintun has taken over as Chair of Williams Mullen's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice. Mr. Purintun joined the firm in April 2015 and has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in all areas of employee benefits and executive compensation. He replaces Kate Marriott, who retired at the end of July. Williams Mullen's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice features seven attorneys who work closely with clients on issues involving all areas of employee benefits law, such as ESOPs, 401(k) and pension plans, health and welfare plans and stock-based compensation, as well as severance and executive and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements.
