K&L Gates has added Jason Opperman as a finance partner in Sydney. He joined from Henry Davis Yolk, where he led the banking, restructuring and insolvency practice. The company has also hired Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's Arthur Artinian to join its London IP practice as a partner. Artinian, who is dual-qualified in the UK and Australia, is expected to play a key role in London, advising on UK, European and multi-jurisdictional matters. His practice encompasses contentious and non-contentious trademark, design, copyright, e-commerce, digital, and advertising matters.
