Showtime Networks Inc., or SNI, has partnered with Roku, Inc. and Sony Network Entertainment International LLC to offer its streaming service through Roku players, Roku TVs and the PlayStation Vue cloud-based TV service in early July 2015. The addition of SHOWTIME to the Roku platform helps provide that choice for millions of Roku customers and delivers TV on their terms.

Showtime Networks Inc. announced that Matthew C. Blank, who has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 1995, will pass his title and duties as CEO to a key lieutenant on January 1, 2016. Blank will continue on in his role as Chairman of the division after the transition. David Nevins, the current President of the company, will become the President and Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Nevins will be responsible for all aspects of the daily and strategic management of the division. In addition to his current role, which includes all creative development and acquisition of premium programming, marketing, and other duties as noted below, his new role will add responsibility for all of the other business functions at Showtime. In connection with his appointment to CEO, Nevins' term of employment is extended through calendar year 2018. As President of the company, David Nevins has been responsible for developing, acquiring and supervising all aspects of programming for all of the Showtime Networks channels across all genres including comedy, drama, reality, specials, documentaries and films.
Showtime Launches Standalone Internet Service

Showtime has announced plans to launch its own standalone internet service at a monthly $10.99. Branded simply 'Showtime', the CBS-backed premium channel will make its debut in on July 12, 2015, coinciding with new series of Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex. The platform will initially be available on Apples iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Subscribers to the new service will gain unlimited on demand access to every season of Showtime's original series and a rebroadcast of the East and West coast feeds of the premium channel. Apple users will be required to create a Showtime account.
