Intellectual Ventures Hires Mona Locke as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing

Intellectual Ventures has hired Mona Locke as it’s senior vice president of corporate communications and marketing. Locke will be responsible for leading IV's global communications and marketing efforts including internal and external communications, marketing and public relations. With more than 20 years of global experience working in both the public and private sectors, Locke has held a variety of positions in journalism, communications, corporate and community partnerships, and government relations. Most recently, Locke served as the interim executive director at the Puget Sound, where she ran its operations and led community stakeholder engagement and major fundraising efforts. Prior to that, she served as the national operations director for national Komen's Washington, D.C. office. Currently, she serves on the board of trustees for both Seattle Children's Hospital and Lakeside School and is an advisory council member for the 100K Strong Foundation.
