Performance Services Announces Solar Offering for Indiana K-12 Schools

Performance Services has announced a new solar PV offering for Indiana K-12 schools that allows schools. The latest advancements in technology have dramatically reduced solar project costs, and a new third-party financing option now makes it possible for some solar installations to be leased with no debt financed by the school—resulting in positive cash flow in the first year of operation. To support its solar offering, Performance Services hired Ryan Stout as National Solar Manager. Stout has experience in manufacturing, design, and construction of large solar installations. He has designed and implemented more than 60 megawatts of solar photovoltaic systems for commercial and education projects. In addition, Performance Services is excited to announce a partnership with the National Energy Education Development Project to support STEM learning and provide K-12 curriculum printed sets, hands-on solar learning kits, use of real-time energy data from a school's own solar installation, teacher training and student-focused challenge events.
