Lawrence Tynes Files Lawsuit against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Former NFL player Lawrence Tynes has filed a USD 20 million lawsuit against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tynes suit claims that unsanitary conditions in the teams Tampa, FL, training facility resulted in him contracting a career-ending case of MRSA. Tynes alleges that he was infected with the antibiotic-resistant bacteria during training camp for the 2013 season. The former place kicker claims he was forced to retire from football due to pain in his toe stemming from the infection. According to the lawsuit, the Buccaneers concealed ongoing cases of infection among other players, failed to employ proper sterilization protocols, and did not routinely disinfect high-touch surfaces.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Announces Executive Changes

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have hired Chief Marketing Officer Ailey Penningroth away from a ten-year stint with the Atlanta Hawks to lead the team's marketing efforts at One Buc Place. Penningroth replaces Jason Dial, who left the Bucs after the first game of the season in September 2013 to help run Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Penningroth begins on March 17, so it is early for her to be sharing the full breadth of her marketing plan for
the Buccaneers, but admitted this is the perfect time to be stepping aboard the Bucs ship. She has spent her entire career in the NBA and now moves to a market with no NBA team as she steps into the NFL.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Announces Management Changes

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to hire Jason Licht as their new general manager. Licht, will replace Mark Dominik who was fired after five years as GM. Licht served as vice president of player personnel with the Arizona Cardinals last season and has also held positions with the Dolphins, Panthers, Patriots and Eagles. Licht will have to work closely with new Bucs head coach Lovie Smith.
