AMC Networks Inc. Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended December 31, 2014

AMC Networks Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, net revenues increased 40.0%, or $174 million, to $609.4 million over $435.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2013, led by 19.7% growth at national networks and an increase of $92 million at international and other. Operating income was $159.0 million against $85 million last year. Income from continuing operations before income taxes was $122.1 million against $58.5 million last year. Income from continuing operations was $81.6 million or $1.06 per diluted share against $35 million or $0.49 per basic and diluted share last year. Net income attributable to stockholders was $77.6 million or $1.06 per diluted share against $35.4 million or $0.49 per basic and diluted share last year. Adjusted earnings per diluted share were $1.15 against $0.51 last year. Adjusted operating cash flow (aocf) totaled $193.6 million, an increase of 96.9%, versus $98.3 million last year. For the year, net revenues were $2,175.6 million against $1,591.9 million last year. Operating income was $546.4 million against $582.2 million last year. Income from continuing operations before income taxes was $397.0 million against $469.0 million last year. Income from continuing operations was $267.9 million or $3.63 per diluted share against $290.2 million or $4.00 per diluted share last year. Net income attributable to stockholders was $260.8 million or $3.58 per diluted share against $290.7 million or $4.00 per diluted share last year. Net debt was $2,618.6 million. Net cash provided by operating activities was $375.8 million against net cash used in operating activities of $49.5 million last year. Capital expenditures were $39.7 million against $24.3 million last year. Adjusted earnings per diluted share were $3.91 against $4.27 last year. Net revenues increased 36.7%, or $584 million, reflecting 13.5% growth at national networks and an increase of $378 million at international and other. Sling TV Adds AMC Networks to Programming Portfolio

Sling TV and AMC Networks announced a comprehensive agreement that includes over-the-top (OTT) multi-stream rights for live and Video-On-Demand entertainment and news content from AMC Networks portfolio including AMC, BBC AMERICA, BBC World News, IFC, SundanceTV and WE tv. AMC will be included in the Live TV's core package for $20 per month. Sling TV will announce the launch date as well as additional information regarding package availability of the AMC Networks channels in the coming weeks.

AMC Networks Inc. Appoints Gregg Seibert as Vice Chairman

AMC Networks Inc. announced that Gregg Seibert has been named Vice Chairman. In this newly created role, Mr. Seibert will work with AMC Networks' senior management team to provide strategic and financial advice on corporate strategy and business initiatives, including financing and other strategic transactions that further position the company for success.
