VMware, SoftBank Telecom and SoftBank Commerce & Service Expand VMware vCloud Hybrid Service to Japan

VMware, SoftBank Telecom and SoftBank Commerce & Service have expanded the VMware vCloud Hybrid Service to Japan. The partners will deploy this IaaS public cloud service for Japanese customers. The vCloud Hybrid Service is designed to enable organizations to extend their private on-premise IT infrastructure to the public cloud. The resulting hybrid cloud is compatible with a customer's existing IT assets and allows them to build new cloud-native applications. IT departments can view, manage and operate this cloud environment in a unified way using the VMware vSphere platform.
