Pacific Equity Partners has tapped CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE : CBG) to advise on industrial and logistics property sale with about $400 million worth of assets on the block sporting long leases to Pacific Equity business named as Allied Mills Australia Pty Limited. James Ajaka, Chief Executive Officer of Allied Pinnacle said "These are quality assets that we believe will be interesting to the market. We are exploring the sale and leaseback so we can use the proceeds to invest in our core business of flour milling and manufacturing of bakery products and to accelerate our innovation program".
Suntory Reportedly Calls For First Round Offers For Cerebos Australia

Street Talk understands that local sponsors are taking a close look at Cerebos (Australia) Limited, the Australian food and instant coffee business of Suntory Beverage & Food Limited (TSE:2587) (‘Suntory’), which includes Gravox gravies, Fountain sauces and Saxa salt. The deal is expected to be too small for the global firms but is expected to attract local players with Pacific Equity Partners among the contenders. The business is expected to be worth about $300 million. Suntory and its adviser, UBS, will have a better understanding of buyer expectations when indicative bids land next week. Street Talk revealed that the sell-side has called for first-round offers by July 19, 2017 while it is seeking a deal by the end of the year.
