Mortgage Bankers Association promoted Rick Hill, a staff member in the Research and Industry Technology Group, to the position of Vice President of Industry Technology, effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Hill joined MBA in 2010 and is responsible for providing leadership to MBA and its membership relating to operational and technology topics faced by the industry, including through the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), which he oversees. He is also responsible for developing the content for MBA's Technology Conference and leading all of MBA's technology forums and working groups - both residential and commercial/multifamily - as well as managing technology related content for MBA Education. Prior to joining MBA, Hill was the Director of Data Strategy at Fannie Mae.

David H. Stevens, President and CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association, announced the promotion of five MBA staff. The promotions will be effective January 1, 2015. Joel Kan, Associate Vice President of Industry Surveys and Forecasts Having joined MBA in 2006, Mr. Kan is responsible for managing the production of MBA's macroeconomic and housing market forecasts. He also oversees the production of MBA's industry surveys, including the Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey, the National Delinquency Survey, Builder Applications Survey, and Mortgage Credit Availability Index, four of the association's most high profile reports. Mr. Kan writes monthly commentaries regarding economic statistics and industry data. Prior to his promotion, he was Director of Economic Forecasting. He holds a BS in Economics and Statistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Mortgage Bankers Association Announces Executive Promotions

Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced two promotions as part of an organizational realignment plan. Marcia M. Davies has been named as Chief Operating Officer and Peter J. Grace has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy and Member Services. Davies previously was MBA's Chief of Staff and Senior Vice President of External Relations. She will continue to lead external relations but will also assume "a consolidated operational portfolio" and responsibility "for ensuring alignment on MBA's top organizational priorities." Grace joined the MBA in 2012 as Vice President of Strategy and Internal Technology and Chief Information Officer. Going forward, he will also oversee MBA's Member Services department, which includes education content development, design and delivery. He will report to Davies.
