Creative Associates International Names Cris Revaz as Senior Education Counsel

Creative Associates International announced that international education expert Cris Revaz joins the company as Senior Education Counsel. Revaz will help guide the company's global program teams working to stem school dropout, bring technology to the classroom and boost early grade literacy in the midst of conflict in transitioning states. Previously, as Executive Director of the Basic Education Coalition, Revaz managed a coalition of 17 U.S. based nongovernmental organizations advancing access to literacy, math, critical thinking and life skills for children around the world. He is a thought leader in the field on post-2015 education development goals and safe, universal access to education.
Creative Associates International Announces Executive Changes

Leland Kruvant has been named President of Creative Associates International. He replaces co-founder Charito Kruvant, who continues as CEO and will oversee governance and external relations. Prior to his promotion, Leland Kruvant, 43, was the Vice President of Strategy, which he led since 2002. Creative has also announced two new positions in its Washington, D.C., headquarters. Thomas Wheelock has been promoted from Vice President to the new position of Senior Vice President, where he will oversee the division with programs in governance, elections, political transitions, stabilization and related work. He has held senior-level positions with the U.S. government and the private sector. Jessica Kruvant has been promoted from Director of External Relations to Vice President of that department. She directs Creative's engagement with the U.S. government, strategic coalitions, the private sector and opinion makers. Sharon Cooley has been promoted from Senior Director of Business Development to Vice President of that department. Before joining Creative, Cooley worked at the Urban Institute on international development and domestic performance management for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank and other multilateral funders.

Prior to Creative, Holguin was vice president of Financial Management and Global Operations Controller at Abt Associates in Washington, D.C., where he managed corporate finance and international accounting groups, overseeing international banking and long-term strategic financial planning.
