DONG Will Not Divest Electricity Distribution Grid

Thomas Thune Andersen, Chairman in DONG Energy AS will not divest its electricity distribution grid in Copenhagen in connection with a future listing of the company. Pensionskassernes Administration A/S has expressed an interest in acquiring part of the DONG electricity grid.

DONG Energy Seeking IPO

DONG Energy AS is initiating preparations for an initial public offering with the goal of going public within 18 months. The company said in a statement that it has completed its IPO roadmap and will now seek to list “as soon as possible”, depending on market conditions. As per the proposed IPO, the company will still be controlled by the state after the sale of a minority stake on the bourse.
