Update on Numericable's IPO

Numericable SAS is looking for IPO. Eric Denoyer, Chief Executive Officer of Numericable said, "Investors are interested in cable operators reinventing themselves through the technology shift to fiber markets are fairly open to that right now. The Numericable story is shifting to a growth story, and that’s what we want to take to the market". Numericable , is set to complete its planned IPO before end of year 2013, according to two people with knowledge of the matter, who asked not to be named because they weren’t authorized to discuss the process.

Numericable Launches J-One New Channel

Numericable has launched J-One, a new, exclusive, HD TV channel dedicated to animes and Japanese culture. J-One will broadcast fiction, reports and reality-TV from Asia, as well as new mangas (original versions with French sub-titles), one day after these shows broadcast in Japan. The channel will also feature Japanese and Korean pop music with J-Pop and K-Pop. J-One will be available for all from 4 to 25 October 2013. It will then become part of the operator's Power package.

Merger Of Numericable And SFR Not On Cards

Jean-Yves Charlier, Chief Executive Offer of SFR, told Journal du Dimanche, that merger between Numericable SAS and SFR SA is not on the agenda. The merger has been speculated for a long while but while Numericable has admitted interest in the deal, SFR has repeatedly stated that the company is not for sale.
