The Center for Finance and Policy at the MIT Sloan School of Management recently announced the appointment of Doug Criscitello, a former CFO at two of the U.S. government credit agencies, as its first executive director. Criscitello will help lead the new nonpartisan Center in its mission of research and educational initiatives addressing the unique challenges facing governments in their dual roles as operators of the financial institutions and regulators of the financial system. Prior to coming to MIT Sloan, Criscitello served as chief financial officer at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Small Business Administration.
