Vodafone Spain Launches Own-Brand Smart Turbo 7 Smartphone

Vodafone Spain announced the launch of its own-brand Smart Turbo 7 smartphone, available in combination with a number of prepaid and postpaid tariffs or for under EUR 100 unlocked. The Android 6.0-powered LTE-enabled device is manufactured by Alcatel and comes with a 5-inch screen, front 2MP camera and rear 8MP camera with flash LED and 720p video. It also features a 2,000 mAh battery, quad-core Mediatek MT6735M processor at 1.3 GHz and 8GB of expandable storage.

Vodafone Spain Launches Exclusive Silver Galaxy Note 7

Vodafone Spain has announced the launch of an exclusive version of Samsung's latest smartphone, the 5.7 inch Galaxy Note 7. The new silver version of the handset will be available from 09 September at a cost of EUR 33 per month on an 18-month Red L contract, with 6GB per month of data, EU and US roaming, 6 months of Netflix or Spotify Premium and 2 years of BackUp+ for EUR 45 per month.

Vodafone Spain Launches Indirect Fibre in 4.2 Million New Homes

Vodafone Spain has begun offering fibre services in 4.2 million homes throughout the country that aren't yet covered by its own network. The operator reached an indirect access deal with Telefonica in May to give customers the possibility of subscribing to its Vodafone One fibre-based broadband packages at download speeds of 30 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps. Vodafone's FTTH and HFC network now covers around 15 million homes in Spain, including 4.2 million via the deal with Telefonica, 2 million via the networking sharing deal with Orange and 9 million via its own network.
