SG Corporate & Investment Banking announced that it has hired Daniel McGarvey and a team of senior ABS bankers as the bank continues to expand its U.S. asset-backed securities business, in all aspects of the market, from originating loans to structuring, distributing and trading the securities. McGarvey will manage an expanded team of ABS and CMBS professionals with the objective of building a leading U.S. ABS franchise, both in mortgage and non-mortgage asset-backed security segments. McGarvey, who has over 20 years of experience in the broad spectrum of U.S. securitized products, most recently headed RBS's non-mortgage ABS business, developing the franchise into a market leader. Prior to RBS, McGarvey marketed, structured and executed term ABS distribution at Banc One Capital Markets, and prior to that JP Morgan, where he began working in ABS in 1994. Also joining Societe Generale in senior positions as part of McGarvey's team are Bob Pucel, as head of ABS/CMBS syndicate, and Carl Spalding as a lead ABS Banker. In addition, Sean Whelan has been hired as a senior asset-backed products salesperson. Additional hires announced supporting the bank's initiative include Parker McKee in sales and Ryan Comins in syndicate. All were previously with RBS and will be based in New York.

Formerly, Michael Maringe was Head of Equity Capital Markets France, Belgium and Luxembourg and Deputy Head of Corporate Finance France. Based in Paris, he reports to Scott Phillips, Global Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage and to Thierry d'Argent and Sylvie Remond, Co-Heads of Coverage and Investment Banking division.

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, or SG CIB, has announced the appointment of Arkadiusz Jaskolski as the head of cash equity sales and execution and Lukasz Godek as the head of cash equity sales in Poland. They will be based in Warsaw. Arkadiusz Jaskolski will be responsible for the development of the cash equity business with Polish institutional investors and for the coverage of investors specialized in the Central & Eastern Europe region. He will report to Howard Sherman, Head of Cash Equity & Flow Execution in London, as well as to Thomas Kleb, Global Head of Cash Equity Sales and Marcin Dabek, Head of Financial Institutions Sales for Poland. Arkadiusz Jaskolski has over twenty years of experience in capital markets. He joined SG CIB in Poland in 2011 to develop the cash equity business for Polish institutional clients. Lukasz Godek will report to Azrkadiusz Jaskolski. He joins SG CIB from Wood & Company Financial Services SA where he worked as Equity Sales Trader since 2012, having previously been an Equity Analyst at ING Securities Poland.
