Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking has appointed Sadia Ricke as head of global finance for Asia Pacific. She replaces Ashley Wilkins, who will be taking up a new position in Societe Generale group. Based in Hong Kong, Sadia reports to Hikaru Ogata, CEO of Global Banking & Investor Solutions for Asia Pacific, and Pierre Palmieri, Global Head of Global Finance. Sadia possesses profound knowledge and expertise of the financing industry. She will play a key role in developing SG CIB's Global Finance business in line with the bank's strong ambitions for the region. Sadia began her career at Societe Generale in 1994 in the Financial Institutions Credit Department. She has more than 13 years of experience in the Structured Finance division and then the Natural Resources & Energy Finance division where she was the co-Deputy Head, a position she held until 2010.

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking appointed Ben Arnott as managing director of reserve based finance for Asia-Pacific. Based in Singapore, he will report to Daniel Mallo, Head of Energy and Metals & Mining for Asia Pacific, and to Kevin Price, Global Head of Reserve Based Finance. He will be responsible for developing SG CIB's reserve based finance activities in the Asia Pacific where he will focus on origination and execution of such transactions in the region. This is a new appointment which will further strengthen the bank's capabilities in the Natural Resources & Energy Financing Group. Ben Arnott has more than 14 years of experience in the Asia Pacific oil and gas arena. He joins SG CIB from Standard Chartered Bank where he was a senior member of the Oil & Gas Corporate Finance team.

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has appointed Nick Gionfriddo as Head of OTC Clearing Sales, North America within its Newedge prime services business. Gionfriddo will be based in New York and will work closely with Jamie Gavin, who was recently appointed Head of Institutional OTC Clearing Sales, UK. He will report to Adam Cohen, Global Head of Institutional Sales. Gionfriddo joins from CME Group where he was a Senior Director on the OTC Products team, providing services across rates, credit and FX to institutional clients.
