The Virginia Wesleyan College Board of Trustees has elected two new members who begin their service during the 2015-2016 fiscal year. Linda Thomas-Glover, President of Eastern Shore Community College, and Jon Pruden, Co-Owner and Chief Eating Officer of Taste Unlimited, join an engaged group of Trustees whose dedication has
been a critical asset to the success of Virginia Wesleyan, its students and alumni. Dr. Linda Thomas-Glover, a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, was appointed the fourth president of Eastern Shore Community College in 2009. She previously served as provost and chief academic officer at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Kentucky. In her current role, she has spearheaded the development of new instructional programs and workforce training and facilitated successful partnerships with K-12 and transfer institutions. Currently, she is a member of the Melfa Rotary Club, serves on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Space Flight Academy. Jon Pruden was formerly an attorney with Kaufman and Canoles, Pruden has solid ties to the business and philanthropic communities in the region. He is a fellow at the Civic Leadership Institute, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Williams School and the Pruden Foundation and Chairman of the Retailer Network.
